BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (July 19, 2024) –Greenlight Networks (“Greenlight”), the leading fiber-to-the-home provider in New York State, has joined forces with Binghamton’s Ross Park Zoo to expand its high-speed fiber internet throughout the zoo premises. Under a new sponsorship agreement, Greenlight will enhance connectivity in key areas within the zoo including the gift shop, administration office and maintenance shop, support the streaming services at the animal enclosures and serve as the sponsor the Wolf Woods building. What a great opportunity it was, to team up and expand our network into a destination that local families love so much,” said Greenlight Networks CEO Mark Murphy. “We look forward to improving the zoo’s internet experience with our high-speed fiber connections. And, like our recent investment in Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Park, this sponsorship with the Southern Tier Zoological Society will allow us to reach more residents within Binghamton and the surrounding areas of the Southern Tier.”

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, zoo guests can enjoy free admission compliments of Greenlight Networks. Greenlight representatives will be stationed near the gift shop to showcase the advantages of fiber internet. Zoo guests are encouraged to chat with the Greenlight team and any guests that place a new order in an area where Greenlight currently services will receive free installation. An artist will also be on-site at the Greenlight table between the hours of 10 a.m. to noon offering free face painting to children.
