How the lights should display:
- Power: Steady Green Light
- PON: Steady Green Light
- Alarm: Unlit
- Data: Blinking Amber/Orange – Detecting 1000BaseT/GIgabit (Up to 1,000 Mbps) or Blinking Green – Detecting 100BaseT (Up to 100 Mbps)
Lights indicating issues with connection:
- Power: Unlit – No Power | Steady Red – Indicates power being received is not sufficient or the device’s power adapter is not functioning fully
- PON: Unlit – No network connection is being received from fiber optic network | Blinking Green – Indicates attempt to reconnect to the main network, this should typically take five minutes if the signal reaching the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is still fully operating
- Alarm: Steady Red – Indicates connection issues over fiber optic network, may need to be reseat (unplug/re-plug) of the fiber optic line, or a full repair from one of our technicians
- Data: Unlit – Indicates that your ONT is not connecting properly via ethernet to the device on the other end, typically the wireless router in use at the home
How the lights should display:
- Power: Steady Green Light
- PON: Steady Green Light
- Alarm: Unlit
- Data: Blinking White – Detecting 5GigE (Up to 5,000Mbps) | Blinking Yellow – Detecting 2.5GigE (Up to 2,500Mbps) | Rapidly Blinking Green – Detecting 1000BaseT/Gigabit (Up to 1,000Mbps) | Slowly Blinking Green – Detecting 100BaseT (Up to 100Mbps)
Lights indicating issues with connection:
- Power: Unlit – No Power Being Received | Steady Red – Indicates power being received is not sufficient, or the device’s power adapter is not functionally fully
- PON: Unlit – No Network Connection Being Received from Fiber Optic Network | Blinking Green – Indicates device is attempting to reconnect to the main network, this should typically take five minutes if the signal reaching the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is still fully operating
- Alarm: Steady Red – Indicates connection issues over Fiber Optic Network, may need to reset (unplug/re-plug) the fiber optic line, or a full repair from one of our technicians
- Data: Unlit – Indicates that your ONT is not connecting properly via ethernet to the device on the other end- typically the wireless router in use at the home

- Lan: Blinking Orange – Detecting 1000BaseT/Gigabit (Up to 1,000 Mbps) or Blinking Green – Detecting 100BaseT (Up to 100 Mbps)

- Power: Steady Red – Indicates experiencing an issue with power received | Unlit – Indicates that no detectable power is being received
- Fiber: Unlit – No Network Connection is Being Received from Fiber Optic Network | Blinking Green – Indicates device is attempting to reconnect to the main network, this should typically take five if the signal reaching the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is still fully operating
- LAN: Unlit – No power being received | Steady Red – Indicates power is being received is not sufficient, or the device’s power adapter is not functionally fully
How the lights should display:
- ↔ Ethernet: White – Ethernet Connection Online
- ≡ Signal: 2 or 3 White Lights – Proper Signal Levels Received
- Power: White – Powered On
Lights indicating issues with connection:
- ↔ Ethernet: Unlit – Ethernet Connection Offline
- ≡ Signal: Any Amber Lights – Difficulties With Signal Levels Received
- Power: Unlit – Powered Off
How the lights should display:
- Power: Solid Green – Device powered on and receiving expected power
- WAN: Solid Green – WAN is physically connected, at 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps
- Internet: Solid Green – WAN is connected, and an IP address has been assigned via DHCP or Static connection types
- WPS: Solid Green – Wi-Fi Protected Setup link Successful | Blinking Green – Wi-Fi Protected Setup Ongoing
- WLAN: Solid Green – Wi-Fi is enabled for at least one frequency(2.4GHz,5GHz) | Blinking Green – Wi-Fi traffic is sending data
Lights indicating issues with connection:
- Power: Solid Red – Light failed on Startup, or Power Issues Detected | Blinking Green – Software Updating | Off – No power received to Router, or insufficient power
- WAN: Solid Orange – WAN Connection limited to 10Mbps or 100Mbps | Off – No WAN Ethernet Connection detected
- Internet: Blinking Green – Connection is in Process | Off – WAN has disconnected, or has dropped
- WPS: Solid Red – Wi-Fi Protected Setup processing an exception | Off – No WPS activity ongoing
- WLAN: Off – WLAN is offline
LED colors and statuses:
Blue-Green: Solid – Connection is operational, performing well
Yellow: Solid – Connection is operational, but speeds may be limited | Pulsing- Device is in configuration mode, awaiting setup
Red: Solid- No Internet Connection Detected | Pulsing- Device is going through a Factory Reset
White: Device is Powered On without further statuses to indicate
Unlit: Device is not Powered On, check On/Off switch on bottom
LED Colors and Statuses During Typical Operation:
- Power: Solid Green – Device is powered on with sufficient power source
- PON: Solid Green – Device has been configured and service connection is operating
- Internet: Solid Green – Device is communicating, with a functioning IP Address assigned of a DHCP or Static connection type
TEL(Greenlight Networks Does Not Support Telephone Service Through This Device):
- WPS: Solid Green – Wi-Fi Protected Setup Link is Up
- WLAN: Solid Green – Wi-Fi Enabled for at least one Radio Frequency (2.4GHz, 5GHz)
- LAN: Solid Green – LAN Link is Active
- USB: Solid Green – At least one device is connected to the USB Port
LED Colors and Statuses that may indicate Connection Difficulties:
- Power: Solid Red – Light failed on Startup, or Device encountered errors on Startup | Blinking Green – Device is attempting to automatically update as needed | Off – No Power is being received at the device
- PON: Solid Red – Fiber Optic Connection is Not Established/Operating | Blinking Green – Device is attempting to reconnect to the Network | Off – No Fiber connected, or Fiber Optic signal is not being received by the device
- Internet: Blinking Green – Reconnection is in progress | Off – Full Internet Access is not Operating
TEL(Greenlight Networks Does Not Support Telephone Service Through This Device):
- WPS: Solid Red – Wi-Fi Protected Setup is processing an exception, or encountering errors | Blinking Green – Wi-Fi Protected Setup is ongoing and attempting to complete | Off – Wi-Fi Protected Setup is not operating, or has recently failed
- WLAN: Off – WLAN is offline, likely that device is not broadcasting Wi-Fi successfully
- LAN: Off – LAN link is Off
- USB: Blinking Green – Traffic Activity/Data Transfer through USB Port | Off – No device is connected to the USB Port
