The deal is estimated to bring in a big boost as the internet service provider attempts to expand across Monroe County.

President, Mark Murphy said he’s excited about where the company can go from here.

“To have his name as an endorsement is a big deal for us. It was a big deal for our employees when we shared the news with them and I think with our customers what we have seen already when this came out on social media today is tremendous,” said Murphy.

Greenlight is a fiber-optic network provider. The company currently serves several communities within Pittsford, Brighton, Irondequoit and Rochester.
