Greenlight Networks Accelerates Hudson Valley Connectivity, Announces High-Speed Fiber Internet Expansion into Village of Goshen and Middletown, New York

Latest buildout fuels Greenlight's growing presence within Orange County

GOSHEN, N.Y. (Jan. 13, 2025) – Greenlight Networks (“Greenlight”), the leading fiber-to-the-home provider in New York State, announced today its plans to expand the company’s high-speed fiber internet network into both the Village of Goshen and Middletown, New York. This latest expansion is set to connect more than 1,000 Goshen households and more than 5,000 Middletown households to the company’s sought-after network. With an active buildout already in progress in Wallkill, the growth of the network marks a major milestone for Greenlight as the company looks to enhance its local presence and service offerings within the Hudson Valley region.

“We’re seeing a rising demand for high-speed internet throughout the communities of the Hudson Valley region and Greenlight is keenly focused on building out our network at steady and ongoing pace, working alongside local contractors and municipalities to make it happen,” said Mark Murphy, CEO of Greenlight Networks. “Wallkill residents are already experiencing firsthand the advantages of fiber internet with its reliability, speed and affordability. We’re thrilled to soon bring that same level of service to local residents and businesses in Goshen and Middletown.”

Construction is beginning in Goshen starting with the neighborhoods between Main Street and Old Minisink Trail. Goshen residents can expect to see service availability in early 2025. Through a unique partnership with Goshen’s Cataract Engine & Hose Company, Greenlight will house its network equipment at the local fire department’s station located on Green Street and in exchange, will provide complimentary fiber internet services to the volunteer firefighters serving the Goshen community.

Middletown is on the docket for 2025 and pole attachment preparations are currently underway. This isn’t the first Greenlight development in Middletown as last July Greenlight announced a significant partnership with Middletown’s iconic Orange County Fair Speedway. Greenlight’s 8 gig business-class broadband connection now fuels the Speedway’s seamlessly connectivity throughout the venue and online streams.

The expanding network infrastructure strengthens Greenlight’s growing presence in the Hudson Valley, which is a priority market for the company with its dynamic business and economic growth potential. Greenlight Networks is actively involved in the local business communities through memberships with the Goshen Chamber of Commerce, Orange County Chamber of Commerce and Orange County Partnership.

“Greenlight Networks is a valued partner in our economic development efforts.  High-speed fiber internet infrastructure is crucial to our region and necessary in the attraction of the type of industry that creates good jobs for our residents.  Greenlight is expanding to support and maintain a strong business climate in Orange County and beyond,” said Maureen Halahan, President, and CEO of the Orange County Partnership. “It’s a measure of success when businesses like Greenlight, recognize the value of our communities and invest in our future.”

Residents are encouraged to check their address for service availability through the company’s website. All  of Greenlight’s fiber customers will receive  access to symmetrical upload and download speeds, unlimited data usage and transparent pricing without hidden fees or long-term contracts. For a limited time, Greenlight is offering free installation, a $100 value, to Village residents who pre-order Greenlight services.
